COLLECTIONS

Will I be able to access the DVD, VHS, or CD collection?

No, these collections are in storage throughout the project.

How do I access an article from a bound journal that was on the ground floor?

Bound journals have been relocated to Knouse, our off-site storage facility. As these are being unpacked during the renovation, please make a request for the article through interlibrary loan (ILL) for any article that we would normally have available in print. Please contact a librarian if you have any questions.

Will microfilm be available during the renovation?

For safety during the construction, microfilm will be unavailable. Please work with a librarian to see if we can borrow material from elsewhere for you.

Where can I view microfilm I receive through ILL?

We have a microfilm reader available on the main floor during the renovation.

Where is the Digital Center?

Where is the copy machine?

The copy machine is currently in storage. We have a touch-screen scanner on the main floor by the Browsing Room available for your use. It allows you to scan a document and email a PDF copy to yourself, which you can then print.

Where can I get help with course reserves?

The Reserves office staff has temporary offices on the second floor in the “Ultra Quiet Study Room.” You may also contact Lisa McNamee at lmcnamee@gettysburg.edu /x7025 or Gale Baker gbaker@gettysburg.edu / x7016

Where can I get help with Media Reserves?
